Daya Verdding is a young British-Punjabi female artist. Her identity and heritage has elevated her passion for highlighting social and cultural stories and relationships through her photographs. Her upbringing was richly gifted with time from the women in her family.  Daya’s emotional inspiration and interest in equality and powerful female lead stories, has led her focus in creating her latest project Langar. Photographing a community of Punjabi women contributing to Langar together in Gurdwaras across London.
