Ollie Heath - Owlman

Ollie Heath is a photographer working out of West Yorkshire. His work ranges from conceptual storytelling and fine art to travel and environmental issues. He primarily works with black and white film and enjoys the process of printing in the darkroom and practicing other alternative techniques. He believes the digital age is casting a shadow on the traditional, slower, analog photography processes and is an advocate to keeping it alive.

Ollie is also the co-founder of Wild Narrative, an online platform dedicated to teaching children and young adults nature storytelling techniques with the aim of creating and nurturing the next generation of conservationists. A project that has been funded by the Woodland Trust.

Owlman takes you on a stroll through the small woodland of Mawnan where owl meets man and fiction meets reality. The project dives into what it means to be superstitious today as it uncovers one version of the Owlmans story.
